At the Journal of Computer and Information System (J-CIS), we are committed to maintaining the highest standards in the peer review process. Our peer review process is designed to ensure the quality, accuracy, and relevance of the articles we publish. We follow a rigorous and transparent review procedure to provide constructive feedback to authors and improve the process of scholarly communication.
Prosedur Review

Delivery
- Authors submit their manuscripts through our online submission system.
- After submission, the manuscript will go through an initial screening by the editorial team to ensure that the manuscript meets the basic requirements and scope of the journal.

Editorial Initial Assessment
- The editor-in-chief or designated associate editor will evaluate manuscripts for originality, significance, and adherence to journal guidelines.
- Manuscripts that pass this initial assessment will be forwarded to expert reviewers in the relevant field.

Reviewer Selection
- We use a double-blind review process, in which reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other.
- Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, publication history, and previous experience in the peer review process.

Review Process
- Reviewers are given 3-4 weeks to provide their feedback and recommendations.
- Each manuscript is usually reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
- Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:
- Originality and significance of research
- Clarity and coherence of presentation
- Methodological accuracy
- Ethical considerations
- Relevance to the journal's audience

Decision Making
- Based on the reviewers' comments and recommendations, the editor-in-chief or associate editor makes one of the following decisions:
- Accept without revisions
- Accept with minor revisions
- Revise and resubmit
- Reject
- Authors receive detailed feedback from reviewers to guide necessary revisions.

Revision and Final Decision
- Authors are given a certain amount of time to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer comments.
- Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the original reviewers for further evaluation.
- The final decision is made by the editor-in-chief or associate editor, taking into account reviewer feedback and the quality of the revisions.
Ethical Considerations
- We adhere to the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
- Plagiarism detection tools are used to ensure the originality of submitted manuscripts.
- Conflicts of interest are managed transparently, and reviewers are required to disclose potential conflicts.
Reviewer Guidelines
- Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, respectful, and timely feedback.
- Reviews should be comprehensive and focus on the strengths and areas for improvement of the manuscript.
- Reviewers should maintain confidentiality and avoid discussing the manuscript with others.
