Landasan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi definisi grup, grup Abelian, dan lain-lain. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat teori grup yang digunakan dalam identifikasi pola simetri pada motif kain tenun, yaitu grup Frieze. Kelompok Frieze terdiri dari kelompok Frieze yang ditemukan dari motif kain tenun Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara adalah kelompok Frieze F1, F2, F3, F5, F6, F7 dan pola Frieze F4 yang tidak ada. This disease causes a fairly high mortality rate in livestock populations that can threaten food security in a region. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent and control its spread. This study aims to examine the model of the spread of anthrax disease in a livestock population by considering indirect transmission and the use of disinfectants. The constructed model is expressed as a system of ordinary differential equations. Dynamical analysis is carried out to identify the stability properties of the disease-free equilibrium point. The results of the dynamical analysis show that the disease-free equilibrium point is conditionally stable, namely when the basic reproduction number is less than one. In addition, the results of numerical experiments show that the use of disinfectants has a significant effect on the dynamics of the spread of anthrax disease, namely the higher the rate of bacterial death due to disinfectants, the fewer cases of anthrax. A fractal is a geometric shape that fulfills the properties of the fractal dimension. If you look at a fractal at first glance, it has an irregular shape, but if you look further, there is a regularity. One of the properties of fractals is self-similarity which occurs when a fractal is enlarged. The fractal form has a pattern obtained from iterating a function with infinite repetition. Among the fractal shapes there is the Sierpinski carpet shape. Fractals in 2D form can be transformed using geometric concepts into 3D fractals. Fractal shapes can be applied for cultural development, namely to form wallpaper motifs. Poverty is generally expressed as a static concept with the amount of poverty as a description of welfare conditions at a certain time. In reality, poverty has a time period that is never cut off and has a continuous pattern over time. The Indonesian government is committed to efforts to eradicate poverty in order to reduce Indonesia's poverty rate. One way that can be done is by allocating aid to the community. Grouping is carried out by cluster analysis using the Gaussian Mixture Model method with the Expectation-Maximization (EM) algorithm. The optimal number of clusters in the Gaussian Mixture Model uses the Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC) method. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari badan pusat statistik (BPS) provinsi Lampung dan Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Lampung. Generalized Linier Model (GLM) adalah kerangka statistik yang memperluas model regresi linier sehingga memungkinkan variabel dependen memiliki distribusi yang tidak normal. GLM merupakan model yang sangat fleksibel, mencakup berbagai model regresi umum&nbsp; seperti regresi linier, regresi logistik, dan regresi poisson. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang signifikan mempengaruhi lama perawatan pasien penderita tuberkulosis, dan mendapatkan model regresi Cox <em>Proportional Hazard </em>dengan Penaksiran Parameter <em>Efron Partial Likelihood</em>. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode <em>Efron Partial Likelihood</em> pada data lama perawatan pasien penderita tuberkulosis di Puskesmas Banggae I, Majene tahun 2017-2022. Penelitian ini memiliki 5 variabel bebas yaitu: jenis kelamin, umur, riwayat penyakit, pemeriksaan dahak dan alamat domisili. Penaksiran parameter pada model terbaik dinyatakan oleh nilai AIC yang paling kecil yaitu 1409,283. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, pemeriksaan dahak berpengaruh secara signifikan pada data lama perawatan pasien penderita tuberkulosis. The complex climate system, comprising components such as the atmosphere, lithosphere, and biosphere, generates climate variations among different areas. Climate change has potential impacts such as changes in rainfall patterns, rising temperatures, and sea level rise. Extreme weather, prolonged droughts, and heatwaves can endanger both the environment and human beings.This article aims to assist in predicting future climate patterns to prepare for their impacts using panel data analysis. A panel data regression model is employed to assess the influence of rainfall and air temperature on climate change in Kota Padang from 2018 to 2022. The analysis reveals a significant influence of air temperature, estimated at 0.08, on climate change in Kota Padang during this period. These findings provide a basis for developing mitigation and adaptation strategies to address climate challenges in the region and offer valuable insights for government policies in facing future climate-related issues.</em></p> Isma Muthahharah Hardianti Hafid Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Mathematics: Theory and Applications 2024-10-23 2024-10-23 6 2 204 213 10.31605/jomta.v6i2.4064 Pendekatan Optimalisasi Portofolio dengan Capital Asset Pricing Model dan Model Markowitz sebagai Strategi Investasi Cerdas bagi Investor Milenial https://ojs.unsulbar.ac.id/index.php/Mathematics/article/view/4117 <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu investor, terutama generasi milenial, dalam membentuk portofolio investasi yang optimal dengan menggabungkan pendekatan <em>Capital Asset Pricing Model</em> (CAPM) dan Model Markowitz. Data yang digunakan adalah harga penutupan saham mingguan dari Januari 2021 hingga Desember 2023, yang diperoleh dari Yahoo Finance, Bursa Efek Indonesia, dan Bank Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dipilih saham-saham yang menjadi favorit investor milenial dan terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode penelitian. Analisis CAPM dilakukan untuk menentukan efisiensi saham, di mana saham yang return-nya lebih tinggi dari return ekspektasi dianggap efisien. Hasilnya menunjukkan lima saham efisien, yaitu BBRI, BBCA, BBNI, BMRI, dan ISAT. Dari lima saham tersebut, portofolio optimal dihitung dengan menggunakan Model Markowitz, yang menghasilkan alokasi dana terbesar pada saham BBCA (73,17%), diikuti oleh BBRI (20,91%), ISAT (5,69%), dan BMRI (0,23%). Saham BBNI tidak dimasukkan dalam portofolio optimal karena bobotnya adalah 0%. Perekenomian nasional dapat dipengaruhi oleh turunnya nilai tukar rupiah. Oleh sebab itu, penting bagi pemerintah dan otoritas moneter untuk menerapkan kebijakan yang efektif dalam menjaga stabilitas nilai tukar. Prediksi pergerakan nilai tukar rupiah diperlukan guna merancang strategi kebijakan yang proaktif dapat digunakan untuk suatu tindakan pencegahan di masa depan. Metode peramalan ini melibatkan penggunaan teknik statistik untuk prediksi pergerakan nilai tukar di masa mendatang berdasarkan data masa lalu maupun masa kini. Metode peramalan yang paling sering digunakan yaitu ARIMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meramalkan nilai tukar rupiah periode Februari hingga Juni 2024 berdasarkan data bulanan nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dolar Amerika dari Januari 2014 hingga Januari 2024 menggunakan metode ARIMA. Hasil penelitian diperoleh model terbaik yang dapat digunakan untuk meramalkan kurs rupiah terhadap dolar Amerika yaitu model ARIMA (2, 1, 0) dengan nilai MAPE sebesar 1,6% yang menunjukkan akurasi peramalan sangat akurat.</p> Fajar Mubarok Ika Purnamasari Desi Yuniarti Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Mathematics: Theory and Applications 2024-10-29 2024-10-29 6 2 225 236 10.31605/jomta.v6i2.4072 SDIR Mathematical Approach with Time Delay Factor to Reveal Indonesian Students' Interest in Government Organizations and Internships: A Case in FMIPA UNM https://ojs.unsulbar.ac.id/index.php/Mathematics/article/view/4152 <p><em>This study is to build a time-delay SDIR model on the case of student interest in Organizations and Government Internship Programs, analyze the model and conduct a model simulation to predict the level of student interest cases in Organizations. This study is a theoretical and applied study. Analysis of the time-delay SDIR model of the case of student interest in Organizations, while the model simulation uses Maple Software. The population of the study was active students of FMIPA UNM, with a sample size of 1029 students obtained using the Sloving technique. The results of this study are a mathematical model of SDIR on the case of student interest in Organizations which is a system of differential equations. The model analysis provides a value of the free equilibrium point of the case of student interest in Organizations and a stable endemic equilibrium point. The results also found that the basic reproduction number value for cases without a solution would produce R<sub>0</sub>n = 9.912507841, which means that in social cases where one individual can influence 9-10 people in their environment to hesitate to participate in organizational activities or internship programs, but on the other hand if the case is given a solution, it will produce R<sub>0</sub>s = 0.2737372211, which means that there is no psychological spread, where each individual does not influence other individuals.</em></p> Syafruddin Side Wahidah Sanusi Andi Muh.
