The study is conducted through a qualitative approach using a literature review method that examines scientific publications, empirical reports, and theoretical discussions related to the implementation of inquiry in biological anthropology education. The analysis focuses on patterns of inquiry syntax application, the use of fossil data representations, and their contribution to the development of students’ scientific process skills. The synthesized findings indicate that guided inquiry improves students’ understanding of early bipedal traits while strengthening their abilities in observation, question formulation, data classification, and evidence-based conclusion drawing. The literature also notes increased learning motivation and scientific attitudes when inquiry is implemented in a structured manner, even without direct laboratory-based fossil analysis. This paper concludes that guided inquiry is an effective pedagogical strategy for developing scientific literacy and enhancing students’ interpretative abilities regarding human evolutionary evidence.
Dimas Ario Sumilih Copyright (c) 2025 Celebes Journal of Elementary Education https://ojs.unsulbar.ac.id/index.php/cjee/article/view/6000 Wed, 10 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Pentingnya Pengembangan Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Literasi Siswa SD https://ojs.unsulbar.ac.id/index.php/cjee/article/view/5830
fitriyani, Rahma Ashari Hamzah, Nadia Nafisa Nuraqila, Andi Intan Nuraeni, Pelita Koyange, Noviana Copyright (c) 2025 Celebes Journal of Elementary Education https://ojs.unsulbar.ac.id/index.php/cjee/article/view/5830 Sun, 14 Dec 2025 08:19:18 +0800 Penerapan Problem Based Learning dalam Pembelajaran IPS untuk Membangun Kesadaran Sosial Siswa Sekolah Dasar https://ojs.unsulbar.ac.id/index.php/cjee/article/view/5972
This Study explores how the implementation of the problem Based Learning (PBL) model in Social Studies (IPS) instruction can faster social awarenes among elementary school students. Using a literature review approach, the study examines a range of recent journals, academic articles, and books relevant to the topic. The reviewed literature indicates that Social Studies plays a crucial role in helping students understand social phenomena, develop empathy, and build a sense of responsibility toward their surrounding community. However, Social Studies learning in many elementary classrooms is still dominated by teacher centered methods, which limit students’ opportunities to engage actively in disscussions, investigate real issues, and think critically. The PBL model offers an alternative approach by positioning real-life problems as the foundation of the learning procces. Through collaborative inquiry, group discussions, and guided problem-solving, students gain learning experiences that are meaningful and closely connected to everyday social realities. Findings across several studies show that PBL enhances students’ motivation, critical thinking, cooperation, and sensitivity to social issues. Therefore, integrating PBL into Social Studies instruction serves as an effective strategy not only for strengthening social awareness but also for shaping students’ character in a consistent and sustainable manner. This review provides a theoretical foundation for teachers who wish to design Social Studies lessons that are more participatory, reflective, and relevant to students’ social development.
Laila badriyah Copyright (c) 2025 Celebes Journal of Elementary Education https://ojs.unsulbar.ac.id/index.php/cjee/article/view/5972 Wed, 10 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Integrasi Nilai Kepemimpinan Autentik dalam Praktik Supervisi Akademik: Strategi Menuju Sekolah Bermutu di SDN 50 Cendana https://ojs.unsulbar.ac.id/index.php/cjee/article/view/5342
This study aims to describe the integration of authentic leadership values into academic supervision practices and how this integration becomes a strategy in realizing a quality school at SDN 50 Cendana, Enrekang Regency.
