Abstract

ASI eksklusif mengandung semua zat gizi yang dibutuhkan bayi usia dibawah 6 bulan dan seharusnya tetap dapat diberikan meskipun dalam keadaan darurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis determinan pemberian ASI non-eksklusif pada bayi terdampak gempa Majene. Penelitian bersifat kualitatif melalui pendekatan fenomenologi. Informan penelitian adalah ibu yang memberikan ASI non-eksklusif kepada bayi 0-6 bulan yang diambil melalui metode purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara. Analisis data melalui tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan hasil wawancara.


Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ibu bayi memberikan ASI non-eksklusif sebelum gempa bumi terjadi, karena kurangnya pengetahuan tentang pentingnya ASI eksklusif. Mayoritas ibu mendapatkan dukungan dari petugas kesehatan dan keluarga, tetapi masih melakukan praktik pemberian ASI non-eksklusif. Bahkan pasca gempa bumi, bantuan susu formula ke pengungsian tidak terkendali. Sehingga, diharapkan Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Majene untuk membuat pemodelan guna keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif dalam berbagai situasi karena Majene termasuk daerah rentan gempa bumi.
