Abstract

Latar Belakang: Demensia adalah sebuah gangguan fungsi otak yang ditandai dengan adanya gangguan fungsi Kognitif. Salah satu penanganan untuk mengurangi gangguan kognitif adalah memberikan Aerobic Exercise, yakni aktivitas fisik yang dilakukan secara berulang dan terstruktur dengan membutuhkan sistem metabolisme tubuh dan oksigen untuk menghasilkan energi. Metode Penelitian: Metode penelitian menggunakan  Studi Literatur dengan terbitan maksimal 10 tahun terakhir dengan melakukan pencaharian pada 10 search engine: Pubmed, Sage Journal, ScienceDirect, Semantic Scholar, Directory of Open Access, JSTOR, Taylor & Francis, Oxford Academic, Karger, dan PEDro. Dalam pencarian Literatur menggunakan kata kunci yang dikembangkan sesuai pendekatan PICOS dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Kemudian Literatur dilakukan pengecekan duplikasi data Literatur dengan aplikasi Mendeley dan diekstrasi data dengan modifikasi CONSORT. Hasil: Terdapat 8 Literatur eligble dengan 5 Literatur menggunakan latihan Cycling atau bersepeda dengan menggunakan sepeda statis atau sepeda ergometer, 1 literatur menggunakan gabungan Latihan cycling, crosstrainer dan Treadmill, 1 Literatur yang menggunakan latihan arm ergometer dan 1 Literatur yang menggunakan Latihan Walking atau berjalan menggunakan treadmill. Kesimpulan: Intervensi Aerobic Exercise memiliki pengaruh terhadap fungsi Kognitif lansia dengan demensia dengan Jenis Aerobic Exercise yang dapat direkomendasikan adalah dengan melakukan latihan bersepeda.
