This research aimed to determine the effect of different energy and protein level giving in Arabic chicken on feed consumption, egg production and feed conversion. The materials used for this experiment were 80 heads of arabic chicken 5 months age and maintained for 6 weeks (36 days). The method used was completely randomized design (CRD) which consists of 4 treatments and 10 replications that R1 (protein 15% and EM 2 500 Kcal), R2 (protein 16% and EM 2 600 Kcal), R3 (protein 17% and EM 2 700 Kcal) and R4 (protein 18% and EM 2 800 Kcal). Analysis of variance showed that treatment significantly (P&amp;lt;0.05) on feed consumption, egg production and feed conversion. It could be concluded that more increasing energy and protein, the higher egg production, feed consumption and generates optimal feed conversion. Energy and protein with a protein level of 18% and energy 2 800 Kcal kg-1 showed better performance.

The aim of this study is to prove the influence of different rearing temperature on the chemical quality of broiler chickens meat. Twenty birds of male broiler chicken CP 707 strain age 21 days was used in this study. The average body weight was 1 167±0,17 g. The research used t-test with 2 treatments and 10 replications. The treatments applied was rearing temperature: high (35-36ºC, T1) and standart (23-24ºC, T2) from age 21 - 35 days. The variables observed were moisture, ash, fat and protein content of thebreast meat. The results showed that different rearing temperature did not significantly affected on the moisture and ash content, but significantly affected on the fat and protein content of broiler breast meat (P&amp;lt;0.05). The conclusions of this study was proved that high rearing temperature (35-36ºC) from 21 to 35 days of age caused a decreased in protein content and an increased in fat content of breast broiler chickens meat, however, the moisture and ash content remained similar.

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Dipylidiasis is a tapeworm disease that attacks cats and dogs and classified as a zoonotic disease because it can be transmitted to humans. A 2 years old female angora cat weighing 3 kg was examined with complaints of bloody diarrhea for 2 weeks. The results of native faecal examination showed the presence of D. caninum worm eggs. Animals diagnosed with dipylidiasis. Cat cases were treated by administering 50 mg praziquantel therapy with the recommendation of 1 tablet for 10 kg/BW orally. In conclusion, the treatment of dipylidiasis by administering praziquantel therapy has proven to be effective.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">The purpose of this study was to prove that the administration of Jati (Guazuma ulmifolia Lamk) leaves extract improves the lipid profile of dyslipidemic male Wistar rats. Subjects were 20 rats (Rattus norvegicus), male, Wistar strain, dyslipidemia (total cholesterol ≥ 200 mg dl-1), aged 2 months old, weighing 180-200 grams. The control group (10 rats) were given a placebo of 3 ml aquadest (P0) and the treatment group was given extracts of the Jati (Guazuma ulmifolia Lamk) leaves extract of 25 mg kg-1 BW (P1). Before and after treatment for 14 days, total cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL, and HDL levels were examined. The results showed that in the P0 group there were no changes in total cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL, and HDL levels (p&amp;gt;0.05), whereas the P1 group experienced a decrease in total cholesterol, triglyceride and LDL levels (p&amp;lt;0.05) and an increase in HDL levels (p&amp;lt;0.05). The results of this study indicated that the Jati leaves extract was effective to improve the lipid profile of dyslipidemic rats. It was necessary to compare the effectiveness of Jati leaves extract with synthetic dyslipidemia drugs used in the community such as statin.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Diagnose technique for detection Tryapanosoma evansi have been developed for many years, including Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). One of fundamental factors on this technique is primer desain which possess high sensitivity and specificity. The aim of the current study was to examine four primer sets for detection of T. evansi on mice. They were ITS 1, ESAG 6/7, RoTat 1.2 VSG, TBR1/2 and TR3/TR4. Balitvet Culture Collection (BCC) – Bangkalan isolate of T. evansi was was injected into two male mice DDY strain. Three days after infection, blood mice was collected and stored at -20oC. In addition, some blood was dropped on the filter paper and kept at 4oC. Another mice was killed and some tissues (brain, liver, lung, heart, spleen and kidney) were removed from mice and preserved into 80% Ethanol and then they were stored -20oC. All samples were amplified using five primer sets and repeated twice. The results demonstrated that all primers (ITS 1, ESAG 6/7, RoTat 1.2 VSG, TBR1/2 and TR3/TR4) were able to detect T. evansi on all samples (the blood, the filter paper and all tissues). In order to detect T. evansi in the field, primer ITS-1 is recommended because it is able to discriminate some spesies T. evansi in livestock and generate a good intensity of DNA band from tested samples.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Babesiosis is a parasitic disease in red blood cells due to protozoan infection of the genus Babesia which is transmitted through tick vectors. A 5-years-old male German shepherd had decreased appetite, weakness, and infestation of ticks throughout his body. Clinical examination showed Capillary Refill Time (CRT) &amp;lt;2 seconds, pale mouth mucosa, erythema throughout the body, philtrum was dry and slow skin turgor.&amp;nbsp; The results of a complete blood examination of the dog had hyperchromic microcytic anemia and lymphocytopenia, while the results of blood smear showed the existence of intraerythrocyte inclusion bodies. The dog was diagnosed with Babesiosis and treated with Ringer Lactate fluid therapy, administration of Clindamycin (25mg/kg BW; PO), Oxytetracycline (15mg/kg BW; PO), Anti-inflammatory Dexamethasone (0.5-1mg/kg BW; PO) and Hematodine (1ml/5kg BB; IV) given for seven days.&amp;nbsp; After treatment, the dog has increased appetite and after 14 days shows improvement in clinical signs.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus acidophilus are a probiotic bacteria which can be combined as a starter fermentation products using fresh milk and reconstitution milk as a growth medium. The aim of this study was to determine the combined effect of L. plantarum and L. acidophilus on total bacteria, lactic acid, and pH levels were used as a starter culture fermented milk beverage. The study was designed using a completely randomized design (CRD) 3 treatments (a combination of 1:1, 1:2, and 2:1) with 5 replications. The results showed that the number of bacteria at the level of a combination of 1:1, 1:2, and 2:1 respectively were 8.96±5.80; 8.22±5.80 and 8.72±5.80 (log cfu/ml), lactic acid content were 0.36±0.008 %; 0.41±0.008 %; and 0.49±0.008 %, and the pH were 4.91±0.02; 4.67±0.02; and 4.54±0.02. The best combination of L. plantarum and L. acidophilus bacteria for fermented milk was 1:1 based on the growth activity of lactic acid bacteria and pH.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">The study aims to provide an overview of the value of the body condition and parity of Bali cattle in the Kanusuang region, West Sulawesi. A total of 11 Bali cows that have been given birth once were involved in this study. Data were collected by direct observation of Bali cows in the field and interview toward the farmers. All cows were subjected to body condition scoring (BCS; scale 1 - 5) through visual measurement. The results of this study showed that most of the proportion of Bali cattle with parity 1 and 2 were the same, 36,36%, while parity 3 was 27,2%. There were 15,4% of the total sample observed cattle have BCS value 3, followed by BCS values 4 and 5 respectively 46,1% and 38,5%. The correlation test between parity and BCS obtained value r=0,355 (P&amp;gt;0,05) means no correlation between both of the data. The BCS value of livestock belonging to farmers in the study location was in the normal range, which refers to the standard BCS values 1-5. The parity value obtained cannot be used as a standard for determining reproductive performance, but was invented as an evaluation of reproductive efficiency.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">The aim of this study was to determine the effect of Intovit-E-Selen injection on the length of force molting and Hen Day of Isa Brown hens. The experimental animal used was 80-week-old Isa Brown hens. A total of 80 Isa Brown hens were divided into 4 treatments with 20 replications. The treatments consisted of P0 (0.3 ml Phosphate Buffer Saline), P1 (0.3 ml Intovit-E-Selen Injection), P2 (0.6 ml Intovit-E-Selen Injection), and P3 (0.9 ml Intovit-E-Selen Injection). The study was conducted by calculating the length of force molting and Hen Day. The research results were analyzed using ANOVA, followed by further tests using the Duncan test. The results showed that the treatment of P3 (0.9 ml of Introvit-E-Selen Injection) had an influence on the length of force molting with an average value of 30.55 ± 2.74 and the treatment of P2 (0.6 ml of Introvit-E-Selen Injection) had an influence on Hen Day with an average value of 80.25 ± 1.48. Introvit-E-Selen injection in Isa Brown chickens can shorten the time of force molting and increase the percentage of Hen Day.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">A local female cat who was ±3 months old with a body weight of 1.5 kg presented to hind legs with complaints of being unable to stand. The inspection showed that the cat was not able to stand upright especially on its two hind legs. When palpated, the hind legs muscle tension begins to decrease. Based on the postural examination, pelvic limb reflexes, and nociceptive examinations, it was pointed to an abnormal disturbance in both hind legs and additionally, there was no response anal sphincter area. A series of neurological examinations indicated that the cat had a lumbosacral nerve disorder. Hematological examinations suggesting the anemia indicated. X-ray examination showed the fracture of an os. vertebrae lumbar I. The cat was diagnosed with paraplegia due to a trauma, where the muscles of the body are paralyzed and weak. The prognosis for this case was infausta. Medications and therapies provided were neurotropic vitamins, dexamethasone, and Hemobion®, and train cats to stand and walk every day. After being given treatment for ten days, the cat case did not show any changes in the two hind legs.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Liquid organic fertilizer with the right concentration is expected to be a source of nutrients for the growth of mini elephant grass. The aims of this study were to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer with different concentrations of urine and Local Microorganism (LMO) on the production of mini elephant grass. The research method used was a randomized block design (RBD) with 4 treatments and each treatment consisted of 3 groups as replications. The treatments used were liquid organic fertilizer, with concentrations of P0 (as a control), P1 (100 % urine, 0 % LMO), P2 (90 % urine, 10 % LMO) and P3 (85 % urine, 15 % LMO). The results showed that liquid organic fertilizer with different concentrations of urine and MOL had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers and production of fresh weight (g/clump). The liquid organic fertilizer with different urine and MOL concentrations has no significant effect on the growth and production of mini elephant grass.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Odot grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott) is a potential forage to be developed in order to guarantee goats feed in Payung island, Kepulauan Seribu Regency, DKI Jakarta province. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fertilizer treatment on growth and forage production odot grasses, namely the treatment of organic fertilizer in the form of goat urine and the treatment of commercial inorganic fertilizers, namely NPK fertilizer.This study was in the form of a field trial using a randomized block design with three treatments and six replications. The treatments were 1) Goat urine fertilizer 500 ml per clump; 2) NPK fertilizer 5 grams per clump and 3) Control (without fertilizer). Goat urine was taken from the location of the goat pen that has been stored for two months fermentation increased nutrient quality. Fertilization with goat urine organic fertilizer on odot grass gave vegetative growth and forage production responses as well as the use of NPK commercial inorganic fertilizers.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">This study aims to determine the livestock productivity level of beef cattle business at Prosperous Livestock Credit (PLC) program in Berau regency, East Kaliamntan. This study implemented in Berau regency in three districts namely Teluk Bayur, Sambaliung and Gunung Tabur, with used survey method at PLC program in Berau regency. Data analysis used descriptive analysis by means and standard deviation. The results showed an increase of the beef cattle population in the PLC program by 48.67 %/year from the initial number of beef cattle. Productivity indicated with Pubertas 2.26±0.40 years, S/C 1.35±0.61, Pregnancy Rate 283.53±1.33 days, Age at First Calving 3.04±0.40 years, Calving Rate 81 % with female population, Fertility 65 %, Mortality 8 % with total population, Oestrus Pospartum 40-60 days, Calving interval 12.4±0.44 months. The average of beef cattle business in the PLC program was 10.23 AU/farmer.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Application of organic manures for improvement soil fertility is expected to increase productivity of Indigofera zollingeriana in marginal land agro-ecosystems.The aim of this study was to evaluate the growth response of Indigofera zollingeriana on application of rabbit and biochar fertilizers. This study used a completely randomized design with 3 treatments and 10 replications. The treatments consisted of T0 (chicken manure biofertilizer as control), T1 (biochar), and T2 (biochar + rabbit manure biofertilizer). The variables observed were stem height (cm), number of stalks, and number of leaves. Application of rabbit manure biofertilizer and biochar (T2) gave the highest plant height, number of stalks and leaves Indigofera of 45.68±4.18 cm, 35.80±1.03 stalk, and 128.5±11.65 leaves, respectively. Also, application T2 enhanced growth vegetative Indigofera started at 7 weeks of age (35th days after planting). It could be concluded that the combination of biochar and rabbit manure biofertilizer gives the optimal result in the growth of Indigofera.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">This study aims to assess the physiological response through body surface temperature of Brahman Cross beef by giving different rest periods. This study used 24 Brahman Cross cattle in several slaughterhouses in West Java. Observation of microclimatic conditions includes temperature, humidity, THI (temperature-humidity index). Data collections of livestock body surface temperature was carried out when the cattle arrive at the slaughterhouse, while they are in the holding pen and the restraining box. Comparative tests were carried out on the surface temperature of cows under different conditions using a completely randomized design (CRD). This study showed that the body surface temperature was still in the normal range, between 30.89-36.75 °C. Analysis of variance showed that different rest periods had a significant effect &amp;nbsp;(P &amp;lt;0.05) on body surface temperature change in the eye area in the three pre-cutting stages. Providing a 24 hours rest period resulted in lower stress response in livestock.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">This study aimed to examine the relationship of feeding time on physiological response and the effect on the behavior of Javanese thin-tailed sheep. The total population of the study was 12 sheep. The treatment in this study is feeding time in the morning (W1) and evening (W2). Parameters that had been observed were heart rate, respiration rate, rectal temperature. This research design used was a completely randomized design. Feeding at different times did not affect daily body weight gain. However, feeding at different times affects the physiological response of thin tail sheep. W1 has a higher heart rate value at daytime of 80.65 ± 3.49 but has a lower value in the afternoon at 75.26 ± 4.20. Respiration rates W1 in the morning and evening were 32.06 ± 2.69 and 51.88 ± 3.43. Rectal temperature W1 lower in the morning at 37.76 ± 0.05. Physiological response of thin tail sheep which were fed with different feeding times indicated that the heart rate, respiration rate, and rectal temperature were still in normal condition.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Chronic inflammation of the oral cavity accompanied by ulcers called Canine Chronic Ulcerative Stomatitis (CCUS). A Pomeranian dog was examined at the Animal Hospital, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University with complaints of decreased appetite and drinking accompanied, in the dog that would not close his mouth. Clinical examination showed that there is bleeding and swelling of the gums and lips, torn sores and ulcer on the lower lip, redness on the edge of the tongue, blackish plaque in almost all of his teeth, halitosis, and enlargement of the mandibular lymph nodes, and routine hematological examination showed a normochromic and normocytic anemia, elevated monocyte levels, and neutrophilia, so dogs were diagnosed with CCUS. Treatment using Amoxicillin, Meloxicam, Vitamin C, Ferrous Sulfate, and fluid therapy using NaCl initially gave quite good results, but the dog died on the sixth day after therapy which possibly due to severe malnutrition and anemia.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Fusobacterium necrophorum is a pathogen causing disease in animals, especially cattle, goats, and sheep. F. necrophorum infection can result in a variety of necrotic conditions (necrobacillosis). This study aimed to design a pair of primers for detecting the leukotoxin B (lktB) gene expressed by F. necrophorum as diagnostic support. The lktB gene sequence was obtained from GenBank NCBI with accession number AF312861.3:685-2337. Furthermore, the sequence was used as a template for in silico primer design using Primer-BLAST. Primer candidates successfully designed were then analyzed for their secondary structure using NetPrimer. The results showed that forward primer set 6 (5'-TCGGATGCTGGAATGCTACTT-3') and reverse primer set 6 (5'-GGGCTCCCAAATCCTTACGA-3') were a favorable primer set with a product size of 228 bp. However, laboratory experiments need to be carried out to determine the optimal conditions for this primer set.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">The purpose of this study was to determine the consumer attitudes towards the product attributes of dangke crackers in Cendana District, Enrekang. The sampling technique used an accidental sampling of 50 consumers. This study uses primary and secondary data. The data were collected using observation, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis in this study was the Fishbein Multi-attribute analysis. The results showed the total value of consumer attitudes (Ao) of the Melona brand and without the brand, respectively 68.38 and 65.03. The packaging was an excellent attribute of the Melona brand. Thus, overall consumers were more satisfied with the Melona brand of dangke cracker products than unbranded dangke cracker products.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">This study aimed to find out the quality of fresh semen from Sumba Ongole (SO) bulls which was diluted with Bestvile Thawing Solution (BTS) diluent modified with soybean milk (SKD). The study used a completely randomized design consisting of four treatments and 5 replications, P0 (100 % BTS), P1 (95 % BTS + 5 % SM), P2 (90 % BTS + 10 % SM), and P3 (85 % BTS + 15 % SM). The parameters observed were the colour, smell, consistency, pH, volume, motility, viability, and abnormalities of spermatozoa. The results showed that the characteristics were in the normal, creamy white semen colour, semen volume 3,6 ml, medium consistency, pH 6,3, typical SO bulls smell, sperm motility 85 %, mass activity +++, sperm concentration 1276 million/ml, live sperm 90,05 % and sperm abnormalities 6,15 % and quality there was no significant difference between the four treatments. The spermatozoa motility and viability in each treatment was able to which achieved on day 1. The characteristics of the spermatozoa of SO bulls were in the normal category. Meanwhile, BTS diluent with the addition of SKD was unable to maintain sperm quality.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Cuscus is an arboreal animal whose habitat is in the forest with the type of food consumed are fruits, leaf shoots, and agricultural plants. Animal manure can also be used as organic fertilizer for forage plants. This study aims to determine the growth response of Setaria grass (Setaria sphacelata) given a dose of cuscus manure fertilizer with banana and avocado consumption. The study was designed in a CRD with 3 treatments. The treatments were P0 = without fertilizer (100% soil), P1 = 40 g/polybag of cuscus manure with banana consumption, and P2 = 40 g/polybag of cuscus manure with avocado consumption. Planting is done by pols on polybags measuring 30 x 25 cm. The results showed that the highest plant height of Setaria grass was found in P2 with an average of 101.70, then P1 was 101.47 and P0 was 71.16 cm/week. The results were the same for the number of leaves and tillers, P2 showed significantly higher results (P&amp;lt;0.05), followed by P1 and control. The application of organic fertilizer of cuscus manure with the consumption of bananas and avocados can increase the growth of Setaria grass.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Meatballs are one of the most popular processed meat products in Indonesia. As processed food produced by livestock, meatballs are susceptible to alduteration. The DNA-based detection method is the most widely used and the susceptibility depend on the DNA quality. The aim of this research was to investigate the DNA isolation procedure of commercial meatballs. The study was conducted by taking 36 samples of meatballs from meatball stalls in Bojonegoro Regency. Reference meatballs as a positive control were prepared in the laboratory. DNA isolation was carried out on the collected sample meatballs, reference meatballs, and 10 species of fresh meat for comparison. The concentration and purity of DNA were measured using a spectrophotometer and visualization of the isolation results was performed using agarose gel electrophoresis and UV transilluminator. The results of DNA isolation were compared descriptively qualitatively between samples of meatballs on the market, reference meatballs, and fresh meat. The results of DNA isolation showed that the meatball samples from the market were successfully isolated by showing the concentration values ​​and visualization with agarose gel electrophoresis. The results of electrophoresis and the value of the DNA purity index showed that the DNA was not pure.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">The aims of this study were to determine the characteristics and quality of fresh semen from Sumba Ongole (SO) bulls which were diluted with tris dilution supplemented with skim milk. The study used a completely randomized design consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments were P0 = 100 % Tris, P1 = 88 % Tris + 12 % Susu skim, P2 = 86 % Tris + 14 % Susu skim, dan P3 = 84 % Tris + 16 % Susu skim. The parameters observed were the colour, smell, consistency, pH, volume, motility, viability, and abnormalities of semen. The results showed that the characteristics of the semen were normal, the color of the semen was creamy white, the semen volume was 4.6 ml, the consistency was moderate, pH 6.3, the smell was typical of SO cattle, the motility was 80%, the mass movement was +++, the concentration was 758 million/ ml, viability is 74.24% and abnormality is 16.12%. The characteristics and quality of cement in the four treatments showed no significant difference (P&amp;gt;0.01). The motility and viability of spermatozoa in each treatment were able to survive up to day 3. The Tris diluent with the addition of skim milk was not able to maintain the characteristics and quality of the semen.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Efforts that can be made to improve the performance of native chickens are by crossing them with Bangkok chickens. This study aims to determine the growth of body weight from cross-breeding between Kampung chicken and Bangkok chicken. As many as 30 male chicks from a cross between Kampung and Bangkok chickens were used in this study. The crosses used are rooster chicks. The weight of DOC chickens from Bangkok male and Kampung female was 35.22 ± 0.96 grams. There was a significant increase in growth in chickens from crosses between Kampung male and Bangkok female starting at the age of 5 weeks to 8 weeks of age, reaching a body weight of 729.39±39.10 grams. The conclusion of this study was that the growth of Kampung male crossed with Bangkok female can increase the body weight growth of their offspring. A significant increase in performance in crosses between Kampung and Bangkok chickens occurred from 5 weeks of age to 8 weeks of age.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">The objective of this study was to determine the effect of supplementation nanoencapsulation of Mahkota Dewa fruit extract (NEMD) against the meat bone ratio (MBR) of the commercial part of the broiler chicken carcass. The research material was used 200 male broiler chickens aged eight days who were rearing in open house cages. The treatments consisted of drinking water without feed additives (P0; negative control), drinking water + tetracycline antibiotics (P1; positive control), drinking water + 2.5% Mahkota Dewa fruit extract (P2), drinking water + 2.5 % NEMD (P3), and drinking water + 5.0 % NEMD (P4). Parameters observed were slaughter weight, carcass weight, and MBR of the commercial part of the broiler chicken carcass. The data obtained were analyzed using a completely randomized design (CRD). Data with significant results were further tested using orthogonal contrast (P-Value &amp;lt; 0.05). The results showed that the use of NEMD up to 5% in drinking water did not have a significant effect on the MBR of the commercial part of the broiler chicken carcass. The 5% NEMD has not been able to work optimally to increase the MBR of the commercial part of the broiler chicken carcass.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">This study aims to determine the relationship between body size and bodyweight of the first lactating FH dairy cow. The research method used was linear regression analysis with 17 individuals at 27-29 months. The observed variables were body weight (BW), body length (BL), shoulder height (SH), and chest circumference (CC). The results showed that the correlation value between BW and BL was 0.6791 with the correlation regression equation Y = -724.63+7.68X1. SH and BW have a correlation value of 0.4043. CC with BW has a correlation value of 0.6863 with the regression equation Y = -733.455.90X1. The relationship between BL and SH has a correlation value of 0.2048. BL and CC have a correlation value of 0.4832. The conclusion of this study was that BW has a correlation of 67.91% to BL and 68.63% to CC of first lactating dairy cows, but does not have a correlation to SH. The more the BL and CC of the first lactating dairy cow increased, the more the weight of the dairy cow increased. BL does not have a correlation with SH and CC. SH has a 60.08% correlation with CC.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan mengandung daun indigofera (Indigofera zollingeriana) terhadap respon fisologis dan hematologi kelinci Rex. Penelitian menggunakan 4 ekor kelinci Rex betina yang dibagi menjadi 2 perlakuan. P0 merupakan perlakuan tanpa mengandung daun indigofera, P1 merupakan perlakuan pakan mengandung 20 % daun indigofera. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian yaitu: laju respirasi, denyut jantung, suhu rektal, suhu kulit, kadar hemoglobin, jumlah eritrosit, nilai, jumlah leukosit, dan kadar glukosa. Data respon fisiologis didapatkan dari masing-masing 4 ekor kelinci di tiap perlakuan. Data respon fisiologis dianalisis menggunakan T-test, dan data hematologi didapatkan dari masing-masing dua ekor kelinci dari tiap perlakuan, dan data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian daun indigofera tidak memberikan pengaruh pada respon fisiologis kelinci. Hematologi kelinci yang diberi pakan daun indigofera masih dalam batas normal. Kelompok diet non-indigofera memiliki hemoglobin 11,5; eritrosit 3,7 × 106/mm3;&amp;nbsp; 37,7 %; leukosit 9,8 × 103/mm3 dan glukosa 77,5 mg/dL. Kelinci pada kelompok indigofera memiliki hemoglobin 12,2, jumlah eritrosit 4,15 × 106/mm3,&amp;nbsp; 39,55 %, leukosit 12,9 × 103/mm3 dan glukosa 87,0 mg/dL. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa daun indigofera dapat digunakan hingga level 20 % tanpa memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap respon fisiologis dan hematologi kelinci Rex.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Bahan pakan ternak dengan profil nutrisi yang baik sangat dibutuhkan seiring perkembangan zaman, salah satu bahan dengan potensi besar yaitu biji rami. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh lama pemanasan autoklaf terhadap komposisi kimia biji rami sebagai bahan pakan ayam pedaging. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan yaitu: P0 (tanpa pemanasan autoklaf), P1 (pemanasan autoklaf 5 menit), P2 (pemanasan autoklaf 10 menit), dan P3 (pemanasan autoklaf 15 menit). Variabel penelitian meliputi kandungan zat antinutrisi (tanin dan asam fitat), kandungan nutrisi (bahan kering, protein kasar, lemak kasar, serat kasar, dan abu), gross energy, dan fraksi serat (ADF dan NDF). Analisis data menggunakan ANOVA dan apabila terdapat perbedaan yang nyata dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan lama pemanasan autoklaf memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda sangat nyata (P&amp;lt;0,01) terhadap kandungan zat antinutrisi, kandungan nutrisi, gross energy, dan fraksi serat, dengan penurunan kadar antinutrisi tanin dan asam fitat, penurunan bahan kering, protein kasar, lemak kasar, gross energy, dan NDF. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan kandungan serat kasar, abu, dan ADF. &amp;nbsp;Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa perlakuan terbaik terdapat pada pemanasan biji rami menggunakan autoklaf pada suhu 121 oC dengan tekanan 1,5 atm selama 15 menit.</dc:description>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan protein dan serat kasar ampas sagu (Metroxylon sago) melalui metode kimia dengan penambahan urea pada berbagai konsentrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan dengan total 12 sampel ampas sagu. Setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 1 kg ampas sagu yang difermentasi selama 3 hari. Parameter yang diukur adalah protein kasar dan serat kasar ampas sagu. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini adalah: P0 = 1 kg ampas sagu urea 0 %; P1 = 1 kg ampas sagu + 1 % urea; P2 = 1 kg ampas sagu + 3 % urea, dan P3 = 1 kg ampas sagu + 5 % urea. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis sidik ragam dan di uji lanjut dengan uji BNT 5 %. Hasil analisis pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ampas sagu dengan urea dan tanpa pemberian urea menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata P&amp;lt;0,05 terhadap protein kasar dan serat kasar ampas sagu. Pemberian urea 5 % pada ampas sagu setelah fermentasi 3 hari, dapat meningkatkan kadar protein kasar dan menurunkan kadar serat kasar ampas sagu.

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Daun Moringa oleifera adalah bagian yang paling bergizi, menjadi sumber penting vitamin B kompleks, vitamin C, pro-vitamin A, vitamin K, mangan, dan protein di antara nutrisi penting lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon ayam Lohmann Brown yang diberi ransum tepung daun kelor terhadap performa produksi dan kualitas telur ayam petelur. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga ulangan, masing-masing ulangan menggunakan enam ekor ayam Lohmann Brown umur 39 minggu. Empat perlakuan pakan tersebut adalah: pakan komersial tanpa suplementasi daun kelor (diet basal; kontrol; P0); P1 (diet basal + 4 % tepung daun kelor); P2 (diet basal + 6 % tepung daun kelor; dan P3 (pakan basal + 8 % tepung daun kelor). Variabel yang diamati meliputi performa produksi yaitu konsumsi pakan, konversi pakan, hen day, dan kualitas telur yang terdiri dari bobot telur, indeks kuning telur dan Haugh unit (HU). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsumsi pakan yang disuplementasi tepung daun kelor berpengaruh nyata (P&amp;lt;0,05), sedangkan terhadap konversi pakan, bobot telur, hen day, indeks kuning telur, dan HU tidak berpengaruh nyata (P&amp;gt; 0,05). Suplementasi tepung daun kelor pada pakan dengan level 4 % hingga 8 % dapat menurunkan konsumsi pakan ayam petelur tetapi tidak mempengaruhi kualitas telur yang dihasilkan.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui imbangan protein dan energi yang paling tepat dalam menghasilkan bobot dan ketebalan kerabang telur ayam Arab. Komposisi ransum &amp;nbsp;terdiri dari: jagung kuning, dedak, dan konsentrat RK 24 yang disusun berdasarkan imbangan energi dan protein. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 10 ulangan terdiri dari 40 petak percobaan degan masing-masing petak terdiri dari 2 ekor ayam, sehingga total ayam Arab yang digunakan sebanyak 80 ekor. Perlakuan terdiri dari: R1 (protein 15 % dengan energi metabolisme 2500 kkal/kg); R2&amp;nbsp;(protein 16 % dengan energi metabolisme 2600 kkal/kg); R3 (protein 17 % dengan energi metabolisme 2700 kkal/kg); dan R4 (protein 18 % dengan energi metabolisme 2800 kkal/kg). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa imbangan energi dan protein tidak berpengaruh nyata&amp;nbsp;(P&amp;gt;0,05) terhadap bobot dan tebal kerabang telur ayam Arab. Rataan bobot telur yang dihasilkan berkisar antara 37,24 – 39,15 g sedangkan rataan tebal kerabang yang dihasilkan berkisar antara 0,42 – 0,46 mm terhadap telur ayam Arab umur 5 bulan. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberian ransum dengan level protein 18 % dan energi 2800 kkal meningkatkan bobot telur dan tebal kerabang ayam Arab petelur.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran perempuan yang tergabung dalam Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) pada usaha ternak sapi potong dengan sistem integrasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai Mei 2016 bertempat di KWT Annisa Ghony, Kelurahan Macanang, Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Barat, Kabupaten Bone. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kerangka analisis model Harvard. Digunakan alat analisis skala pengukuran Guttman untuk memudahkan interpretasi data. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anggota KWT yakni sebanyak 32 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran perempuan dalam aspek akses informasi, aspek kontrol, dan aspek pengambilan keputusan cukup besar dalam usaha ternak sapi potong dengan sistem integrasi. Perempuan mendapatkan manfaat dari usaha ternak sapi potong dengan sistem integrasi dalam hal peningkatan pendapatan keluarga, peningkatan pengetahuan tentang usaha ternak sapi potong dengan sistem integrasi, dan peningkatan kerjasama yang baik antar anggota kelompok tani.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Boraks merupakan salah satu bahan kimia berbahaya yang tidak diperbolehkan untuk digunakan dalam makanan. Bahan Tambahan Pangan (BTP) yang berbahaya jika dikonsumsi akan memberikan dampak yang buruk bagi kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi kandungan boraks pada jajanan bakso daging sapi di Kecamatan Baolan, Kabupaten Tolitoli. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif berupa uji deteksi kandungan boraks menggunakan tepung kunyit dan uji daya tahan penyimpanan bakso sebagai uji konfirmasi penegasan deteksi kandungan boraks. Total 13 sampel bakso yang dianalisis, sebanyak 9 sampel bakso diperoleh dari pedagang bakso dengan warung menetap, sedangkan 4 sampel lainnya diperoleh dari pedagang bakso gerobak. Pemeriksaan kualitatif berupa uji deteksi boraks menggunakan tepung kunyit dan tusuk gigi. Pengamatan ciri fisik dilakukan melalui uji daya simpan bakso. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak satu pun bakso yang terdeteksi mengandung boraks dari jajanan bakso daging sapi yang diambil dari pedagang bakso di Kecamatan Baolan, Kabupaten Tolitoli.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui taraf pemberian suplementasi wafer pakan daun lamtoro terhadap performa sapi Pasundan. Komposisi ransum terdiri dari pakan konvensional (dedak, jerami padi, dan hijauan rumput gajah), dan wafer suplemen pakan (daun lamtoro, bungkil kelapa, bungkil kedelai, molases, pollard, CaCO3, molases, dan CGM (Corn Gluten Meal) sebagai perlakuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 4 perlakuan dan 5 kelompok sebagai ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu P0 = pakan konvensional (dedak, jerami padi, dan rumput gajah), P1 = pakan konvensional + 5 % wafer daun lamtoro, P2 = pakan konvensional + 10 % wafer daun lamtoro, P3 = pakan konvensional + 15 % wafer daun lamtoro. Pengelompokan didasarkan pada bobot badan yaitu sangat kecil (70,23 ± 9,15 kg), kecil (99,55 ± 7,87 kg), sedang (102,05 ± 7,29 kg), besar (115,23 ± 8,44 kg) dan sangat besar (136,59 ± 7,10 kg). Variabel yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah&amp;nbsp; bobot badan akhir, pertambahan bobot hidup harian, dan efisiensi pakan. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberian suplemen wafer pakan pada taraf 10 % (P2) nyata (P &amp;lt; 0,05) meningkatkan bobot badan akhir, pertambahan bobot hidup harian, dan efisiensi pakan sapi Pasundan.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil hematologis ayam ras petelur yang dipelihara secara intensif dan free range pada musim hujan. Sebanyak 54 ekor ayam ras petelur (Lohmann Brown) berumur 65 minggu dipelihara dengan sistem instensif, serta free-range pola rotational dan pola countinuous. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan (setiap ulangan terdiri dari 6 ekor ayam sebagai ulangan), penelitian dilaksanakan dengan tiga model pemeliharaan, pada akhir pemeliharaan dilakukan pengambilan sampel sel darah dari 18 ekor ayam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem pemeliharaan intensif serta free-range pola rotational dan countinuous tidak berpengaruh terhadap hematokrit (P &amp;gt; 0,05) namun berpengaruh terhadap jumlah eritrosit dan jumlah leukosit (P &amp;lt; 0,05). Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemeliharaan ayam ras petelur dengan sistem free-range dapat memperbaiki tingkat kesejahteraan dan kesehatan ternak pada musim hujan dilihat dari status hematologisnya, sehingga dapat diterapkan dalam manajemen pemeliharaan ayam ras petelur.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Cemaran mikroba merupakan hal yang tidak dikehendaki ada di dalam bahan pangan karena dapat merugikan dan membahayakan kesehatan manusia. Coliform adalah mikroorganisme yang dapat digunakan sebagai indikator untuk menentukan kualitas dari pangan, sedangkan total plate count (TPC) adalah untuk mengetahui total mikroba dalam pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cemaran coliform dan TPC pada daging ayam yang dijual di pasar Tamiang Layang dan di pasar tradisional lain di Kabupaten Barito Timur. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada seluruh pedagang daging ayam di pasar. Sebanyak 13 sampel diambil di pasar Tamiang Layang dan 5 sampel di pasar lain, dengan total 18 sampel. Variabel yang diamati adalah cemaran coliform dan TPC pada daging ayam. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif terhadap cemaran coliform dan TPC. Hasil pemeriksaan menunjukkan bahwa rataan cemaran pada daging ayam yang dijual di pasar Tamiang Layang adalah: coliform 2,8 × 102 APM/g dan TPC 1,5 × 106&amp;nbsp; CFU/g, sedangkan pasar lain di luar pasar Tamiang Layang adalah: coliform 2,8 × 101 APM/g dan TPC 1,7 × 106 CFU/g. Persentase cemaran coliform dan TPC lebih tinggi di pasar Tamiang Layang dibandingkan dengan di luar pasar Tamiang Layang.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengukur potensi limbah daun bawang merah sebagai hijauan pakan serta daya dukung terhadap ternak domba di Kabupaten Pati. Low external input sustainable agriculture (LEISA) yaitu pengembangan integrasi budidaya ternak dan optimalisasi pemanfaatan lahan. Sistem tersebut diterapkan sedemikian rupa sehingga ternak mendapat pakan alternatif dari limbah pertanian. Produksi dan kualitas limbah daun bawang merah diukur menggunakan cuplikan sampel pada ubinan. Ubinan menggunakan ukuran 2,5 x 2,5 m2. Model analisis menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan produksi limbah daun bawang merah di Kabupaten Pati sebesar 52.699 ton/BK, dengan proporsi penyumbang tertinggi berada pada Kecamatan Wedarijaksa sebesar 25.141,41 ton/BK. Populasi ternak domba di Kabupaten Pati sebesar 3.828,02 ST, dan ketersediaan BK limbah daun bawang merah dapat memenuhi kebutuhan ternak domba sebanyak 272.417,66 ST/tahun. Kabupaten Pati memiliki potensi untuk pengembangan jumlah ternak domba dikarenakan daya dukung limbah daun bawang merah yang tinggi.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Sisa tanaman berupa batang, ranting, dan daun (aerial singkong) adalah limbah yang berpotensi dijadikan untuk bahan hijauan pakan ternak kambing. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa daya dukung aerial singkong sebagai pakan ternak kambing. Lokasi penelitian di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sampel diambil aerial yang dipotong 40 cm di atas tanah. Populasi kambing di 28 Kecamatan sebanyak 277.420 ekor atau 20.385 animal unit (AU). Analisis location quotient (LQ) diperoleh 46,4 % kecamatan merupakan basis dari ternak kambing. Produksi bahan kering (BK) aerial tanaman singkong yaitu 242.247 ton/tahun, kebutuhan konsumsi BK 71.427 ton/tahun. Daya dukung ternak dengan memanfaatkan sisa tanaman singkong sebesar 69.134 AU, sehingga kapasitas peningkatan ternak untuk Kabupaten Lampung Tengah adalah 48.750 AU. Sebanyak 36 % kecamatan yang ada di Lampung Tengah memiliki kebutuhan pakan melebihi daya dukungnya jika hanya memanfaatkan sisa tanaman singkong saja.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Penelitian bertujuan mengevaluasi calon pejantan unggul (CPU) berdasarkan produksi susu anak betinanya (Daugther Cow/DC) dari sapi Friesian Holstein (FH) hasil uji zuriat. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Februari sampai April 2022 di Balai Besar Pembibitan Ternak Unggul dan Hijauan Pakan Ternak (BBPTU HPT) Baturraden, Jawa Tengah. Materi penelitian adalah 636 ekor DC uji zuriat tahun 2017 – 2020 dari enam CPU. Metode penelitian adalah studi kasus dengan mengambil data catatan kinerja produksi DC uji zuriat periode tahun 2017 – 2020 pada laktasi pertama. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Variabel yang diamati adalah: angka kebuntingan, tingkat kelahiran, rasio jenis kelamin, produksi susu, dan lama laktasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan angka kebuntingan 64,94 %, angka kelahiran dari kebuntingan 77,48 %, dan rasio jenis kelamin (sex ratio) anakan DC jantan dan betina 55,63 % dan 44,38 %. Rataan produksi susu hasil penelitian adalah 13,71±3,92 kg/ekor/hari dengan kisaran 5255,26±1471,06 kg/laktasi. Rataan lama laktasi pada laktasi pertama adalah 249,94±82,80 hari dengan lama interval laktasi 167,14 – 332,74 hari. Performa produksi DC dari semua CPU memiliki produktivitas yang baik. Produksi susu dan lama laktasi sesuai dengan rataan standar sapi FH di Indonesia, sehingga CPU layak sebagai pejantan.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Penelitian bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap kualitas dan produksi semen calon pejantan unggul (Flanggo, Flate, Aris, dan Folegan). Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai dari bulan Maret sampai Mei 2022 di BIB Lembang. Bahan yang digunakan adalah rekaman data sekunder kualitas dan produksi semen dari 4 ekor calon pejantan unggul (CPU) pada kegiatan uji zuriat tahun 2016 sampai 2020. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian dari empat ekor calon pejantan unggul adalah konsentrasi spermatozoa: 1209,35±269,92, 1181,47±238,92, 1137,22±207,73, dan 115,25±261,36 (106/ml); gerak massa: 2,01±0,09, 2,01±0,07, 2,00±0,05, dan 2,00±0,05; motilitas individu: 71,01±0,02, 70,89±0,02, 70,82±0,19, dan 70,70±0,02 (%); pH: 6,60±0,16, 6,58±0,16, 6,58±0,15, dan 6,56±0,15; volume semen: 6,76±2,03, 6,59±2,15, 6,42±1,49, dan 5,47±1,52 (ml); dan produksi semen beku: 295,40±96,92, 293,40±91,40, 265,90±90,81, dan 227,66±66,01 (straw). Berdasarkan rataan tersebut pejantan yang paling unggul adalah Folegan disusul dengan Aris, Flate, dan yang terakhir adalah Flanggo. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa kualitas dan produksi semen dari keempat calon pejantan unggul adalah normal dan layak dijadikan sebagai pejantan.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Pendugaan bobot badan sapi dilakukan dengan melihat postur tubuh pada peternakan rakyat. Hal ini menjadi tidak akurat. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan metode untuk menduga bobot badan sapi yang akurat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji akurasi pendugaan bobot badan ternak sapi crossbreeding berdasarkan berbagai metode. Tiga jenis sapi persilangan yaitu sapi PO × Brahman cross (POBC), Simental × PO (SIMPO), Limosin × PO (LIMPO), 45 ekor sapi jantan umur 3 tahun. Data dikoleksi dan dianalisis untuk mengetahui normalitas dan varians homogenitas menggunakan uji Shapiro Wilk. Analisis varian dilakukan untuk mendeteksi perbedaan pada jenis sapi POBC, SIMPO, dan LIMPO. Uji lanjut tukey dilakukan jika terdapat perbedaan antar perlakuan (P &amp;lt; 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bobot badan sapi crossbreeding umur 3 tahun bervariasi antara 491 – 512 kg. Pendugaan bobot badan menggunakan rumus Cross Cholis lebih akurat bila dibandingkan dengan metode yang lain pada jenis sapi POBC, SIMPO, dan LIMPO. Nilai persentase terbaik pada sapi POBC dengan selisih paling kecil yaitu 2,9 kg bobot badan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa pendugaan bobot badan sapi jantan crossbreeding (POBC, SIMPO, dan LIMPO) disarankan menggunakan rumus Cross Cholis, dan tidak dilakukan pada proses pemeliharaan ekstensif.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi aktivitas antioksidan dan karakteristik fisikokimia bakso daging ayam dengan penambahan bubuk daun kelor (Moringa oleifera Leaf Powder (MLP)) selama 18 hari pada penyimpanan dingin (4°C). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap pola faktorial dengan faktor A level penambahan MLP yaitu: 0 %, 0,5 %, dan 1 %, serta penambahan antioksidan sintetis BHT (Butylated hydroxytoluene) 0,01 % (w/w), sedangkan faktor B adalah lama penyimpanan selama 0, 6, 12, dan 18 hari. Parameter yang diukur adalah aktivitas antioksidan, nilai TBARS, pH, dan warna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan MLP meningkatkan aktivitas antioksidan, nilai warna yellowness (b*), menghambat laju peningkatan TBARS, menurunkan nilai pH, warna lightness (L*) dan redness (a*) bakso daging ayam selama 18 hari. Bakso daging ayam dengan penambahan MLP 0,5 % memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang lebih baik dibandingkan bakso dengan penambahan antioksidan sintetis (BHT 0,01 %) sehingga direkomendasikan penambahan MLP pada pembuatan bakso daging ayam sebanyak 0,5 %.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Program Asuransi Usaha Ternak Sapi (AUTS) merupakan inisiatif yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah dengan tujuan untuk memberikan perlindungan terhadap risiko-risiko yang mungkin terjadi dalam usaha peternakan sapi, seperti kecelakaan, kerugian, kematian karena proses beranak, dan dampak penyakit. AUTS ini didukung oleh pemerintah dan diselenggarakan oleh PT. Jasindo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat kemauan peternak membayarkan premi terlepas dari subsidi yang diberikan oleh pemerintah dan hal-hal yang memengaruhi nilai WTP. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2023 di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar di 3 kecamatan yaitu Kecamatan Luyo, Kecamatan Campalagian dan Kecamatan Limboro. Populasi dalam penelitian ini 402 orang dengan sampel sebanyak 45 penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan Contingent Valuation Method dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rataan tingkat kesiapan peternak untuk membayar untuk program AUTS adalah sebesar Rp.86.600 per ekor per tahun. Faktor yang paling signifikan dalam memengaruhi kesediaan untuk membayar willingness to pay (WTP) adalah tingkat pendidikan.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi kualitas fisik snack bar pakan ternak dengan lama penyimpanan yang berbeda. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) terdiri lima perlakuan dan empat ulangan. Adapun perlakuan yaitu lama penyimpanan snack bar 0, 2, 4, 6 dan 8 minggu. Variabel yang diamati yaitu kerapatan partikel, daya serap air, dan organoleptik snack bar yang meliputi aroma, tekstur, warna, dan keberadaan jamur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pakan snack bar dengan lama penyimpanan yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata (P&amp;lt;0,05) terhadap variabel daya serap air, warna, dan aroma snack bar dan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P&amp;gt;0,05) terhadap variabel kerapatan partikel, tekstur, dan keberadaan jamur snack bar. Lama penyimpanan sampai 4 minggu memiliki kerapatan partikel yang lebih tinggi, warna coklat, tekstur yang padat dan tidak menunjukkan adanya keberadaan jamur dan lama penyimpanan 2 minggu memiliki daya serap air yang terendah dan aroma khas harum limbah tanam jagung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pakan Snack bar dengan lama penyimpanan hingga 4 minggu menunjukkan kualitas fisik yang terbaik meliputi kerapatan partikel, daya serap air, tekstur, warna, aroma, dan keberadaan jamur.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Tongkol jagung merupakan produk limbah pertanian yang memiliki kandungan serat kasar dan lignin tinggi sehingga perlu adanya perlakuan pretreatment fermentasi untuk memperbaiki nilai nutriennya. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengevaluasi pengaruh pretreatment fermentasi yang berbeda terhadap penurunan fraksi serat tongkol jagung. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuannya yaitu: P0 = fermentasi tongkol jagung, P1 = fermentasi tongkol jagung dengan pretreatment pengukusan dan P2 = fermentasi tongkol jagung dengan pretreatment amoniasi. Variabel yang diamati yaitu neutral detergent fiber (NDF) (%), acid detergent fiber (ADF) (%), hemiselulosa (%), selulosa (%), dan lignin (%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pretreatment fermentasi yang berbeda pada tongkol jagung belum mampu menurunkan kandungan fraksi serat tongkol jagung yang terdiri dari NDF, ADF, hemiselulosa, selulosa dan lignin.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">This study aimed to identify the best starter levels of commercial cultures and incubation time on crude protein (CP), crude fiber (CF), extract ether (EE), and nitrogen-free extract (NFE) of amofer corn straw. This research used a completely randomized design with ten treatments and four replications. The treatments were the additions of EM4 (EM) and M21 decomposer (MD) at different levels (control/without amofer; 0.04 % EM; 0.06 % EM; 0.04 % MD; and 0.06 % MD) and incubation times (4 weeks and 2 weeks). The obtained data were analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA), then continued with the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The result showed that the use of commercial starters with different fermentation times could increase the CP and NFE levels while reducing the EE and CF of amofer corn straw. The most effective treatment was the addition of 0,04 % EM and 2 weeks incubation which contained CP of 5.9415 %, CF of 37.8545 %, EE of 4.5183 %, and NFE of 32.4245 %.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Pengelolaan ternak dan tanaman oleh petani cenderung bersifat sub sektoral, sehingga pendapatan menjadi kurang optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pendapatan dan kelayakan usaha tani dengan sistem integrasi ayam arab dan sayuran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental riset untuk pengumpulan data produksi usaha ayam dan sayuran. Populasi ayam yang digunakan sebanyak 120 ekor, sedangkan usaha sayuran menggunakan tiga jenis sayuran yaitu kangkung, bayam, dan caisim. Variabel yang diamati adalah pendapatan dan kelayakan investasi usaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan usaha tani secara integrasi dan&amp;nbsp; tanpa integrasi adalah Rp. 10.609.750 dan Rp. 5.682.854, dengan nilai R/C ratio 1,16 dan 1,09. Evaluasi kelayakan investasi usaha tani secara integrasi dan tanpa integrasi menunjukkan nilai NPV masing-masing Rp. 30.720.977 dan Rp. 11.166.910, nilai IRR 36 % dan 19 %, nilai payback period (PP) 3,04 dan 4,38 tahun. Usaha tani ayam arab yang terintegrasi dengan sayuran dapat meningkatkan pendapatan usaha tani dan memenuhi kriteria kelayakan usaha secara finansial dengan pengembalian modal investasi yang lebih singkat, sehingga lebih layak untuk dikembangkan.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi morfometrik dan sifat kualitatif sapi bali jantan dewasa asal Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) yang dipelihara di Samarinda. Data dikumpulkan dari 98 ekor sapi bali jantan pada 3 kecamatan di Kota Samarinda. Parameter yang diamati meliputi ukuran morfometrik dan sifat kualitatif sapi bali jantan. Data pengukuran yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh koefisien keragaman sedang meliputi tinggi panggul 6,92 %, tinggi badan 6,99 %, panjang kepala 7,56 %, panjang badan 7,82 %, dalam dada 7,42 %, lingkar dada 10,55 %, lebar dada 11,44 %, lebar kepala 13,69 % dan lebar panggul yang memiliki nilai sebesar 10,92 %. Secara kualitatif, sapi bali jantan menunjukkan berbagai warna tubuh. Disimpulkan bahwa sapi bali jantan memiliki nilai koefisien keragaman morfometrik yang berada pada tingkat sedang. Pada pengamatan tinggi badan, panjang badan, dan lingkar dada seluruh individu sampel memenuhi kriteria SNI bibit sapi bali serta ditemukan penyimpangan sifat kualitatif sebagai penciri pada warna rambut ekor yang berwarna putih.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Salah satu hambatan dalam peternakan sapi adalah adanya berbagai penyakit yang menyerang berbagai sistem organ. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk merepresentasikan kejadian penyakit pada berbagai sistem pada sapi di Kabupaten Muna Barat. Data penyakit berasal dari 566 rekam medis sapi yang telah ditangani di Pusat Kesehatan Hewan (Puskeswan) kusambi dari tahun 2021 sampai 2022. Data tersebut dikelompokkan berdasarkan gangguan berbagai sistem organ dan dilakukan analisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis, kejadian gangguan sistem organ terdapat 5 kategori penyakit yaitu gangguan pencernaan (27,74 %), gangguan integumen (25,27 %), gangguan reproduksi (18,37 %), gangguan mata (5,48 %), dan gangguan pada sistem organ lainnya (3,53 %). Gangguan sistem pencernaan pada sapi merupakan gangguan yang paling banyak terjadi. Kejadian penyakit yang paling sering ditemui adalah helminthiasis, scabiosis, dan corpus luteum persistent (CLP).</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Reptile skin is covered with scales that form a protective barrier, making it waterproof and enabling life on land. The present study investigated the histological structure of the skin of the Python reticulatus and Varanus salvator. The samples used were Python reticulatus and Varanus salvator skin taken from the dorsal region. Preparations were made using the hematoxylin eosin (HE) staining method which was carried out at the Microbiology of the leather processing technology, Politeknik ATK Yogyakarta. The results showed that the histological structure of Python reticulatus skin consisted of two layers, epidermis and dermis. The epidermis was composed of stratum corneum, stratum granulosum, and stratum basale. The dermis consists of an outer layer called the stratum laxum (stratum spongiosum) and an inner layer called the stratum compactum. Meanwhile, the histological skin structure of Varanus salvator skin consists of epidermis which included oberhautchen, α-keratin layer, β-keratin layer, supra basale layer, and basale layer. The dermis consists of superficial dermis and deep dermis. There are differences between Python reticulatus skin that is distinguished by its ability to ecydis (skin shedding) the epidermis and Varanus salvator skin have osteoderm (OD) within their dermis layer</dc:description>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan menganalisis urutan prioritas pada aspek animal welfare ternak sapi perah menggunakan GDFP pada aspek animal welfare yaitu: 1) bebas dari lapar dan haus, 2) bebas dari rasa ketidaknyamanan, 3) bebas dari sakit, kecelakaan, dan penyakit, 4) bebas dari rasa takut, dan 5) bebas dalam mengekspresikan tingkah laku alaminya, menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dan wawancara terhadap 24 orang peternak anggota kelompok peternakan Cijeruk Mandiri Sejahtera (KTMS) dan 3 orang ahli yang meliputi akademisi, praktisi, dan pemerintah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kriteria penentuan tertinggi berdasarkan kombinasi nilai observasi dan vektor prioritas animal welfare adalah tidak adanya rasa lapar dan haus sebesar 30,40 % dengan bobot AHP sebesar 0,32. Kriteria tersebut merupakan aspek yang harus diberikan prioritas paling utama untuk pengembangan budidaya sapi perah di KTMS. Urutan prioritas pada aspek animal welfare sapi perah di KTMS berdasarkan GDFP aspek animal welfare dan AHP yaitu bertutut-turut sebagai berikut: 1) bebas dari rasa lapar dan haus, 2) bebas dari rasa sakit, kecelakaan, dan penyakit, 3) bebas dari rasa ketidaknyamanan, 4) bebas dari rasa takut, dan 5) bebas dalam mengekspresikan tingkah laku alaminya.

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis variasi karakteristik warna tubuh ayam kedu menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Riset ini menggunakan ayam kedu jantan sebanyak 146 ekor dan ayam kedu betina sebanyak 185 ekor, dimana ayam kedu jantan dan betina tersebut berasal dari keluarga 12 pejantan ayam kedu dari dalam dan luar satker. uji Wilcoxon dilakukan pada parameter warna bulu kepala, badan, ekor, jengger/pial, dan shank, menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan (P&amp;lt;0,05). Analisis PCA mengidentifikasi tiga pola penyebaran antara ayam kedu hitam dan kedu putih, dimana warna bulu badan dan shank menjadi klaster pembeda antara ayam kedu hitam dan kedu putih. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapatnya klaster perbedaan warna bulu menandakan masih tingginya variasi parameter yang diturunkan oleh tetua dari 12 ekor pejantan baik didalam maupun diluar satker. Penelitian lanjutan mengenai penerapan seleksi untuk menyusun program breeding bagi ayam kedu penting dilakukan untuk menghasilkan commercial stock ayam lokal dengan variasi parameter yang terkontrol.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">This study aimed to identify the shell quality of Lohman brown strains. A total of 460 eggs aged 1–14 days from Lohman brown strains were collected from community farms in Gowa, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The study variables included egg weight, egg index, shell weight, thickness, and percentage. Analysis was conducted using analysis of variance (ANOVA), and the difference in shelf life was analyzed using Duncan's multiple range test. The results revealed that egg weight, egg index, shell weight, shell thickness, and shell percentage significantly (P&amp;lt;0.05) affected egg age from 1 to 14 days. The study concluded that older Lohman Brown strain chicken eggs have reduced weight and shell thickness. Additionally, egg age significantly impacts shell weight, but shell thickness decreases as the egg ages. The color classification of eggshells over 14 days, as indicated by hex codes and sRGB values, shows significant variation, with the darkest brown occurring on days 6 and 11 and the lightest brown on day 1.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">enelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas fisikokimia keju mozarella dan kualitas fisik soft candy yang diproduksi dari susu sapi pada waktu pemerahan yang berbeda. Karakteristik fisikokimia yang dianalisis meliputi kadar karbohidrat, kadar protein, kadar lemak, pH, TAT, aw serta parameter tekstur berupa elastisitas (keju mozarella) dan dan viskositas (susu sapi). Sementara, untuk soft candy dilakukan uji kualitas fisik meliputi pH, aw, tekstur (soft candy). Berdasarkan hasil analisis komposisi fisikokimia susu sapi pemerahan pagi dan sore, dapat disimpulkan bahwa susu pemerahan pagi lebih baik digunakan untuk pembuatan produk olahan seperti keju mozarella dan milk soft candy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keju mozarella dari susu sapi lokal memiliki karakteristikyang setara dengan keju mozarella komersial, sementara soft candy menunjukkan profil tekstur yang kenyal. Susu hasil pemerahan pagi menghasilkan kualitas produk yang lebih baik. Oleh karena itu, disarankan untuk menggunakan susu pemerahan pagi sebagai bahan baku utama dalam pembuatan keju mozzarella dan soft candy untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih optimal dan berkualitas</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Bahan litter yang umum digunakan di peternakan unggas adalah sekam padi, karena ketersedian dan harga perlu dipertimbangkan bahan litter alternatif dengan tetap memperhatikan kualitas litter dan kinerja produksi.&amp;nbsp; Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh bahan litter berbeda terhadap performa produksi dan kualitas litter ayam lokal. Materi yang digunakan adalah DOC ayam KUB sebanyak 315 ekor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan acak lengkap 3 perlakuan dan 7 ulangan yaitu: T1 (litter sekam padi); T2 (litter tongkol jagung giling); dan T3 (litter serutan kayu). Setiap petak perlakuan berisi 15 ekor ayam, variable yang diamati adalah pertambahan bobot badan, bobot akhir, konversi pakan, suhu litter, kadar air litter, ph litter dan amonia. Perlakuan bahan litter memberikan pengaruh nyata (P&amp;lt;0,05) pada pH, kadar air, dan amonia litter, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P&amp;gt;0,05) terhadap PBB, FCR, bobot akhir, dan mortalitas.&amp;nbsp; Kesimpulan yang diperoleh bahwa bahan litter tongkol jagung giling dan serutan kayu dapat digunakan sebagai pengganti litter sekam padi.</dc:description>

	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Livestock farming is a significant sub-sector of agriculture with substantial potential for development. Within this sub-sector, beef cattle farming stands out as a particularly promising enterprise. In South Parigi District, Parigi Moutong Regency, the presence of beef cattle farmer groups plays a crucial role in enhancing livestock productivity and quality. This study aims to ascertain the responses of beef cattle farmers and to evaluate the influence of age, education, and farming experience on these responses towards the presence of farmer groups in South Parigi District, Parigi Moutong Regency. This descriptive quantitative study used snowball sampling to select 32 samples. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression statistical analysis. The results indicated that the majority of responses were categorized as high (20 respondents, 55.6 %), followed by medium (15 respondents, 41.7 %), and low (1 respondent, 2.8 %). The analysis revealed significant p-values for age (0.046), education level (0.012), and farming experience (0.031), indicating significant relationships between these factors and the responses of beef cattle farmers.</dc:description>
