Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• This manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it currently under consideration by another journal (or an explanation has been provided in the "Comments to the Editor" section).
• The files submitted are in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF format.
• The manuscript complies with the LAPOR Journal Guidelines, which can be found
  in the About the Journal section. For reference, we use The Chicago Manual of Style (CMS).

• Third-party material used has been properly cited, and
  permission has been obtained from the copyright holders for all journal formats.
• This text complies with the writing and citation requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
• The author declares that there are no conflicts of interest in this work.
• IMPORTANT NOTE:
  If English is not your first language, we would appreciate it if your manuscript had been
  edited by a native speaker or a reputable editing service. Please be sure to include
  proof of editing in the supplementary files when submitting your manuscript. Otherwise, your manuscript will
  be delayed or even rejected following an initial review by the editorial team.
