ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the social movements that took place at the end of 2010 to early 2011, the region in North Africa and the Middle East experienced a political upheaval known as the Arab's Spring revolution or by the name of the Jasmine Revolution. starting from Tunisia following Egypt, Algeria, Yemen, Bahrain, Libya and other Arab countries. The data were obtained through literature review from various relevant sources which were then analyzed. The results of the analysis conclude that the social movement called the Jasmine Revolution is to identify people's upheaval in Middle Eastern countries like a jasmine flower that is blooming. The term was given by people in the Middle East who likened a turbulent area to a jasmine stalk, one in North Africa and one in the Middle East. The Melati Revolution, which was considered truly beautiful, took place spontaneously, without direction, without leaders and without organization.
