Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis, keterampilan komunikasi, korelasi antara keterampilan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan komunikasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 49 Makassar yang berjumlah 137 peserta didik dan tersebar di 5 kelas yang berbeda. Pengambilan sampel melalui teknik purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel penelitian terdiri dari 24 peserta didik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara keterampilan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan komunikasi dengan korelasi sebesar 0,46 dengan kategori hubungan sangat kuat.
