Focus and Scope
Focus and Scope of the Journal
The Journal of Spatial Planning, Environmental, and Tourism Dynamics is a scientific publication dedicated to exploring the dynamic relationship between Spatial and Regional Planning, the Environment, and Tourism. This journal serves as a platform for publishing innovative, interdisciplinary, and relevant research that not only examines issues within a single field but also analyzes how these three areas influence each other to shape spaces, societies, and ecosystems. We accept manuscripts that offer new insights, robust analytical methods, and practical solutions to the challenges at the intersection of these disciplines.
The journal covers a wide range of topics related to spatial planning, public policy, and sustainable development at both regional and urban levels. Our published research includes analyses of land use, infrastructure development, housing, transportation, and disaster risk management within the context of spatial planning.
We focus on studies that examine the interaction between human development and ecosystems. The scope includes the conservation of natural resources, the environmental impacts of development, climate change, waste management, and urban ecology. The goal is to understand and mitigate negative impacts while promoting environmentally friendly practices.
The tourism aspect of this journal focuses on the sustainability, impact, and management of the tourism sector. We publish research on sustainable tourism planning, ecotourism, community-based tourism, and the economic, social, and cultural impacts of the tourism industry. We are also interested in innovations and technologies that promote more responsible tourism.
This journal encourages a holistic and interdisciplinary approach. We highly welcome contributions that combine perspectives from all three fields to generate a deeper understanding and more effective solutions. We accept research articles, literature reviews, and case studies that use qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods approaches.
