About the Journal
The Journal of Spatial Planning, Environmental, and Tourism Dynamics is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that serves as a platform for the publication of high-quality interdisciplinary research. This journal is dedicated to examining the dynamic relationships and interconnections among three main pillars of development: spatial (regional and urban) planning, environmental issues, and the development of the tourism sector. Our focus is to bridge the gap between theory and practice by presenting articles that are relevant to academics, practitioners, and policymakers.
The journal's scope is extensive, covering crucial topics in spatial planning such as urban design and spatial policy. In the environmental field, we accept manuscripts discussing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), natural resource conservation, and climate change adaptation strategies. Meanwhile, in tourism, studies cover destination planning, sustainable tourism development like ecotourism, and the analysis of the socio-economic impacts of tourism. We particularly encourage the submission of manuscripts that innovatively integrate these three fields. To maintain quality and scientific contribution, each submitted article undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer review process by experts in the field. The Journal of Spatial Planning, Environmental, and Tourism is published periodically three times a year, in April, August, and December, and we openly invite researchers and practitioners to submit their best work to contribute to the discourse on more well-planned, environmentally conscious, and sustainable development.
