Abstract

The International Ecotourism Society (TIES, 1990) defines ecotourism as tourism located in natural areas while maintaining environmental sustainability and improving the welfare of local people. The implementation of Eco-tourism in Palipi Sorang Village is very important to deal with the declining condition of tourist destinations which are increasingly showing a de-cline. Eco-tourism will increase awareness of both the community around the destination and visitors to jointly protect and protect the environment as well as local customs and culture for its sustainability
