This edition presents six articles that represent the use of information technology and artificial intelligence in solving various real problems in society and industry. Starting from the application of the VIKOR method in a decision support system to determine the optimal location of a Waste Disposal Site (TPS), to the development of a web-based library information system. Besides that, the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) Algorithm is used to identify public sentiment towards political figures, as well as the use of the Apriori algorithm to find purchasing patterns that are useful for retail stock management.

Besides that, this edition presents two studies on the application of the Internet of Things (IoT), namely a sensor-based fire early warning system and Telegram Bot, as well as a palm oil storage tank monitoring system with an Android application. Both showed satisfactory test results in terms of accuracy, response speed, and ease of real-time data access. Overall, this issue emphasizes the importance of integrating smart and data-based technologies in creating innovative, adaptive, and impactful solutions in various sectors, including the environment, industry, public services, and security.
