Peer Review Process

Initial Evaluation (Desk Review)

All submitted manuscripts will first undergo an initial evaluation (desk review) by the Editorial Board. At this stage, the manuscript will be assessed based on the following criteria:

  • Suitability with the journal’s scope and focus
  • Compliance with the journal template and formatting guidelines
  • Use of a reference manager (such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote)
  • Completeness of submission requirements

Manuscripts that do not fall within the journal’s scope will be rejected immediately. Meanwhile, manuscripts that do not comply with the template or reference management requirements will be returned to the authors for revision. Authors are given a maximum of 14 days to upload the revised manuscript through the same submission (not as a new submission). Failure to meet this deadline may result in rejection.

Peer Review Process

Manuscripts that pass the initial evaluation will proceed to the peer review stage.

Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers using a double-blind peer-review system, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. The decision on the manuscript will be based on the reviewers’ reports and recommendations. If necessary, a third reviewer may be assigned to ensure an objective evaluation.

If revisions are required at the peer review stage, authors must upload the following documents:

  1. The revised manuscript
  2. A completed Author Response Form addressing all reviewers’ comments
  3. The Turnitin (similarity) report of the revised manuscript. The maximum similarity tolerance is 25%."

Failure to provide the required documents may result in delays in the review process or rejection of the manuscript.

The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of the manuscript is made by the Editors based on the reviewers’ comments and the Editorial Board’s considerations.

Accepted articles will be published online and made freely available as part of the journal’s Open Access policy, allowing immediate and permanent access for readers worldwide.
