SCREENING FOR PLAGIARISM
Authors are required to submit only original manuscripts that are free from plagiarism and have neither been previously published nor are under consideration for publication elsewhere. To uphold the highest standards of academic integrity, all submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening using Turnitin prior to the peer-review process.
The editorial team of The Journal of International Issues in the Global South (JIIGS) maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and self-plagiarism. Any manuscript found to contain substantial plagiarism or evidence of self-plagiarism will be rejected immediately without proceeding to peer review.
As part of the initial editorial assessment, each submission is screened for textual similarity. Manuscripts submitted to The Journal of International Issues in the Global South (JIIGS) must achieve an overall similarity index of less than 25% to be considered for further evaluation.
