JIIGS publishes original research articles and review articles addressing international issues related to the Global South. Through these publications, JIIGS aims to serve as a valuable source of academic reference and scholarly literature for academics, researchers, students, and practitioners in related fields, particularly international relations.

All manuscripts submitted to JIIGS undergo an initial editorial screening to ensure their relevance to the journal’s focus and scope. Manuscripts that meet the initial criteria will proceed to the peer-review process. Articles that successfully complete the review process and are deemed suitable for publication will be published online through the journal’s Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, accessible via the journal’s official website, as well as in print.
