Artificial intelligence (AI) may be used only as a technical tool for writing and managing manuscripts, such as language editing, paraphrasing, and reference management. It cannot take the place of the intellectual responsibilities of authors, editors, or reviewers. While AI cannot be listed as an author and should not be used to create research data, conduct scientific analysis, or interpret results, authors must openly disclose any use of AI in their manuscripts. Editors and reviewers are permitted to use AI only for technical review. They must not use it to assess scientific substance or process manuscripts through AI platforms that could potentially store confidential content. All parties involved are responsible for maintaining the integrity and ethics of publication, and any violation of this policy may be subject to editorial action, including manuscript rejection or article retraction.
