Open Access Policy

Journal of Public Administration and Policy Studies (JPAPS) is an open-access scholarly journal committed to the free and broad dissemination of academic knowledge.

All articles published by JPAPS are made freely and immediately available online upon publication through the journal's official website. Readers are not required to pay subscription fees, registration fees, or other access charges to read and access the full text of published articles.

JPAPS does not impose an embargo period on published articles. All published content is openly accessible from the date of publication.

1. Free and Immediate Access

JPAPS provides free and immediate access to all published articles. Readers may read, download, save, print, search, and link to published articles in accordance with the applicable copyright and licensing terms.

The journal believes that open access contributes to the wider dissemination of research, promotes scholarly communication, increases the visibility of scientific work, and facilitates the use of research findings by academics, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, students, and the wider public.

2. Use and Reuse of Published Articles

The use, reproduction, distribution, and adaptation of articles published in JPAPS are governed by the copyright and licensing provisions applicable to each article.

Users must appropriately acknowledge the original authors and the source of publication when using or reproducing published materials.

Further information is available in the journal's Copyright & Licensing Policy.

3. Author Sharing

Authors are encouraged to share and disseminate their published articles through appropriate academic, institutional, and professional channels in accordance with the journal's copyright and licensing policy.

When sharing a published article, authors should appropriately acknowledge Journal of Public Administration and Policy Studies (JPAPS) as the original place of publication and, where available, provide the article's DOI or official publication link.

4. Open Access and Author Fees

Open access means that readers can access published articles without charge.

Any fees that may apply to authors, if applicable, are separate from reader access and will be transparently stated in the journal's Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy.

Author fees, or the absence of such fees, do not influence editorial decisions, peer-review standards, or decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts.

5. Commitment to Open Scholarly Communication

JPAPS is committed to promoting accessible, transparent, and responsible scholarly communication in the fields of public administration, policy studies, governance, and related areas.

Through its open-access model, JPAPS seeks to facilitate the dissemination and exchange of scholarly knowledge across institutional, disciplinary, national, and international boundaries.
