Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi Peternakan is a scientific journal that contains scientific aspects of animals, published since 2019, published officially biannual in June and December by the Animal Husbandry Program Study, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Universitas Sulawesi Barat associated with Animal Scientist's Society of Indonesia (MoU). Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi Peternakan is open access journal and peer-reviewed that publishes original research with Print-ISSN 2715-3010 Online-ISSN 2716-0424 and DOI https://doi.org/10.31605/jstp. This journal is written in Indonesian or English which has never been published in national and international scientific journals. This journal is dedicated to the dissemination of knowledge related to the advancement of scientific research. The prestigious interdisciplinary editorial board reflects the diversity of subjects covered in this journal. Under the realm of Animal Science and Technology, the coverage includes animal products, physiology and reproduction, breeding and genetics, nutrition and feed science, agrostology, livestock farming system, biotechnology, animal health, welfare, and veterinary, socio-economic, waste treatment, and animal husbandry policies. Furthermore, based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 204/E/KPT/2022, it was designated as an Accredited Scientific Journal (Sinta 3).
