The Indonesian Journal of Educational Science (IJES) is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original and high-quality scholarly works addressing contemporary issues, developments, and innovations in education. IJES aims to provide an academic platform for researchers, lecturers, teachers, practitioners, policymakers, and students to disseminate research findings and exchange ideas that contribute to the advancement of educational theory, policy, and practice.

The journal welcomes empirical research articles, theoretical and conceptual studies, systematic literature reviews, and interdisciplinary studies using quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, or research-and-development approaches.

The scope of IJES includes, but is not limited to:

1. Educational Technology and Digital Learning
   The development, implementation, and evaluation of digital media, artificial intelligence, e-learning, blended learning, mobile learning, and other emerging technologies in education.
2. Educational Psychology and Student Development
   Learning motivation, cognitive and emotional development, student well-being, learning difficulties, character development, and factors influencing students’ academic and social growth.
3. Curriculum Development and Innovation
   Curriculum design, implementation, evaluation, curriculum policy, competency-based education, and innovative curriculum practices across educational levels.
4. Sociology of Education
   Social and cultural dimensions of education, educational inequality, multicultural education, community participation, gender issues, inclusion, and the relationship between education and social change.
5. Teaching Strategies and Pedagogy
   Innovative teaching methods, instructional models, classroom practices, teacher competencies, professional development, and pedagogical approaches that support effective and meaningful learning.
6. Educational Evaluation and Assessment
   Learning assessment, program evaluation, measurement instruments, competency assessment, formative and summative evaluation, and innovations in educational assessment.
7. Interdisciplinary Studies in Education
   Educational studies integrated with science, technology, culture, language, psychology, sociology, economics, environmental studies, and other relevant disciplines.

IJES accepts manuscripts covering formal, non-formal, and informal education at various levels, from early childhood and primary education to secondary and higher education. All submitted manuscripts must demonstrate academic relevance, methodological rigor, originality, and a meaningful contribution to the development of educational knowledge and practice.
