SIMULASI NUMERIK DISTRIBUSI PANAS PADA BUDAYA BAKAR BATU DENGAN PENDEKATAN PERPINDAHAN PANAS BANYAK LAPIS DAN SUMBER PANAS SECARA KONDUKSI
Abstract
Metode komputasi digunakan untuk menganalisis fenomena budaya seperti tradisi bakar batu di Papua, yang memanfaatkan pemanasan batu dan isolasi panas. Penelitian tentang perpindahan panas dalam berbagai proses, termasuk bakar batu, membantu memahami dan mengoptimalkan teknik memasak tradisional ini. Tradisi bakar batu dilakukan dalam upacara adat dengan memanaskan batu tahan panas untuk memasak makanan dalam lubang tanah berlapis rumput basah sebagai isolasi. Teknik ini memungkinkan makanan matang merata berkat perpindahan panas yang terisolasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode numerik beda hingga untuk menganalisis perpindahan panas dan lapisan bakar batu. Sebaran suhu pada bakar batu dipengaruhi oleh konduktivitas panas bahan makanan, dengan tiap lapisan bersifat independen dan hanya dipengaruhi oleh suhu di batas lapisan.
