Zero Tolerance Policy: PHYDAGOGIC maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and unethical publishing practices in any submitted work.

Core Ethical Guidelines

  • Originality: Authors must ensure that they have written entirely original works. Any work, ideas, or words of other authors must be appropriately cited, referenced, or quoted.
  • No Multiple Submissions: Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently is considered unethical publishing behavior and is strictly unacceptable.
  • Proper Acknowledgment: Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be provided. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work.
  • Strict Prohibition: Plagiarism in all its forms—including verbatim copying, paraphrasing without attribution, and self-plagiarism—is strictly prohibited.

Plagiarism Screening Process

Step 1: Manual Verification
The Editorial Team performs an initial manual check on the manuscript to verify proper citation standards, quotation usage, and references against offline and online databases.
Step 2: Automated Similarity Check
All submitted manuscripts are screened using Turnitin similarity checker software as well as Google-based search tools.
Step 3: Editorial Decision
Based on the similarity index and overlap level, the Editor-in-Chief will decide whether to reject the submission, request author clarification/revision, or proceed to the double-blind peer-review stage.
