Abstract
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra eksperimen untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar 3 ranah yaitu kognitif, psikomotorik, dan afektif fisika SMA menggunakan problem based learning dengan pendekatan metakognitif. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah 27 peserta didik tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Desain penelitian ini one group pretest posttest. Instrument yang digunakan adalah instrument hasil belajar fisika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: peningkatan kognitif fisika siswa SMA berada pada kategori rendah dengan nilai 55, nilai ranah psikomotorik sebesar 71 pada kategori cukup dan nilai afektif sebesar 74 pada kategori cukup. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa problem based learning berorientasi pendekatan metakognitif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika siswa SMA Negeri 1 Campalagian.
